I absolutely loved capturing Hayley and John Paul's wedding day yesterday. The couple celebrated at West Tower, an exclusive wedding venue in Orkskirk, West Lancashire. I was ecstatic to photograph another wedding at West Tower, it is a superb venue for any style of wedding and with the unbelievably beautiful grounds attached it makes the perfect location. I’m already looking forward to more wedding photography here.

Hayley was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate John Paul. The wedding ceremony celebrated in the stunning ceremony suite at West Tower was beautiful, the photographs I took definitely have a grand and elegant wedding vibe to them which was exactly what the happy couple hoped for. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer here in Lancashire.

Hayley and John Paul interacted freely with their guests once leaving the ceremony room as husband and wife. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all. I was always on the lookout to catch awesome candid moments on camera and with a flourish of canapés and welcome drinks greeting their guests as they arrived, this gave me a perfect amount of time to snap those special moments for the newly weds and their guests.

Lancashire Wedding Photography at West Tower.

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing Hayley and John Paul in the grounds of West Tower during their wedding day portraits. I tend to keep my couples portraits as natural and relaxed as possible but with the breathtaking and stunning colours this time of year gives us I had to keep them for a few more minutes than normal! The weather was absolutely perfect on the day for photography, beautiful natural light coming though the cloud cover allowed me to really have so fun and capture many beautiful and natural moments as the day went on.

All the guests were keen not to miss the beautiful food provided by the staff at West Tower. The amazing atmosphere that the wedding venue provided was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast, served in the beautifully and elegant conservatory which was dressed perfectly. The whole process was more of an experience for everyone involved than just a traditional wedding breakfast.

A little surprise kept by our bride Hayley followed the speeches which started with a gasp from the whole wedding party… Singing waiters entertained Hayley and John Paul’s wedding party and began the evening party a little earlier that expected! The night ended with guests crowding round the dance floor to watch Hayley and John Paul enjoying their first dance together. An amazing set from live singer Mike, DJ Steve Mitchell and Jonny Sax kept the dance floor packed till the end of the night.

Hayley and John Paul's wedding was absolutely stunning and I’m very honoured to be asked to capture it. Congratulations from me and I wish you both all the happiness in the world as husband and wife.
