The perfect wedding day at Tower Hill Barns

Rainy wedding days at Tower Hill Barn.

It was a pleasure photographing Emma and Pete's wedding yesterday with all their family and friends in attendance. The venue they chose for their wedding was Tower Hill Barns in Llangollen near Wrexham. Tower Hill Barns is a place you can never get bored of capturing, no matter the number of times you have been there to capture a beautiful wedding. The happy couple could not have picked a better place for their wedding and even with the wonderful British weather raining for all but 10 minutes of the day, we didn’t let that dampen our spirits.

Emma began her wedding day celebrations getting her hair and make up done with her girls in the purpose built bridal suite at Tower Hill Barn, those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story. The air was filled with nerves, with the exchanging of gifts this soon changed with excitement starting to build as the wedding ceremony drew closer. Pete and best man Mike has time to prepared themselves for the day in one of Tower Hill Barns connected cottages before welcoming guests to their wedding venue.

Family and friends present at Tower Hill Barn witnessed Emma and Pete exchange vows in an emotional and personal ceremony with a number of readings from close family members. Having a plan to have an outside ceremony under the spectacular and stunning railway arch, when the rain hits its such a great thing having a venue with an indoor ceremony room which is just as breathtaking. As a wedding photographer in the North West of England I always have a fantastic time photographing weddings around this beautiful part of the country.

Smiles and Laugher made everything bright again!

After the ceremony all of the newly weds wedding party enjoyed a lovely reception meal. There was a joyful vibe during the reception and all the moments I photographed were worth a thousand words. It was truly a special day and one I will remember forever.

It is a delight to photograph Summer weddings whatever the weather. Sadly the sun didn’t show its face but what was really nice to see was everyone embrace the day and enjoy the inside of Tower Hill Barns as much as they would the grounds outside. It made taking the happy couples photographs a joy on the day.

All in all I had a blast at Emma and Pete's wedding. Thank you to all the staff at Tower Hill Barn, especially Sophie for making the happy couples, their friends, family and me feel so welcome. I can’t wait to return soon.
