One of Lancashires Top Wedding Venues - Rivington Hall Barn

It was a pleasure photographing Shauna and Tom's wedding celebrations yesterday. They picked a fantastic rustic venue to get married in, Rivington Hall Barn in Lancashire. This was the first time I’ve had the chance to visit Rivington Hall Barn as a wedding photographer and it felt very special to be such a big part of Shauna and Tom’s day, I can't wait to come back as early as next week to capture another Rivington Hall Barn wedding!

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was photographing Shauna getting ready at home. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles; bridal prep is abundant in moments. I then drove over to thee church to see Tom with his boys while they waited for the bride and her bridesmaids to arrive.

Once all the prep had finished Shauna arrived at the ceremony in a vintage horse drawn carriage and took a deep breath as she made her way towards the alter to meet her soon to be, new husband Tom. Friends and family looked on as Shauna and Tom exchanged wedding rings in a fantastic ceremony at St Pauls Church, Wigan. I will always relish the opportunity to cover ceremonies like this in Lancashire.

Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Photographer

Shauna and Tom shared a few moments with their guests before heading to the reception at Rivington Hall Barn in Lancashire. All the guests were cheerful and you could feel the joyful atmosphere at the reception while the sun shone and drinks were given out. I enjoy drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours go by.

This was a fantastic Summer wedding and we made sure we got some lovely portraits at the venue, this being made easy as there are endless opportunities for stunning bridal portraits in and around the grounds or Rivington Hall Barn. It was a cloudy day for some parts, making the light very soft, which really help with photographs.

The guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast and the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. At the end of the day, Shauna and Tom rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing live band.

Shauna and Tom's wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have photographed and I'm sure they will be really happy together.
