The most Perfect and Elegant Wedding Day for Amy and Richard at Styal Lodge in Cheshire

I absolutely loved shooting Amy and Richard’s wedding yesterday! The happy couple chose to celebrate their wedding at Styal Lodge in Cheshire. I was ecstatic to photograph another wedding at Styal Lodge, it’s a superb venue in Cheshire and great for any type of wedding, I get so excited each time I am lucky enough to visit and capture what I know will be an unbelievably beautiful wedding. Thank you to all the staff for making me and every one of the newly weds friends and family feel so welcome. I look forward to capturing many more weddings here in the future. One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing Amy and Richard’s stunning ceremony at Styal Lodge. I like to show a wedding ceremony in a more relaxed way, trying not to interrupt the proceedings but also become part of the day where I can show lots of emotion in the images. Amy and Richard’s ceremony was a very emotional moment in the couples day and I was honoured to have the task of capturing it.

Amy was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate. After the marvellous ceremony at Styal Lodge, the bride and groom enjoyed a few relaxed moments with their friends and family which was perfect for me as I love to capture candid moments of the day with wedding guests enjoying the celebrations. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer in and around Cheshire. Amy and Richard interacted freely with the guests at the reception. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all. I was always on the lookout to catch awesome moments.

Cheshire Wedding Venue, Styal Lodge

There's some real advantages to getting married in Summer. It was a bright day, which was a blessing, and helped make some stunning photographs for the happy couple. With the morning weather not looking too promising we waited for couples portraits until after the wedding breakfast. This, was a great decision as we were able to chase the low evening light which looked great on the final images.

All the guests were keen not to miss the speeches. Every speech is unique and I love to capture them. The day ended with Amy, Richard and their guests rocking the dance floor to their DJ Will Maden and Sax Player Dax from Six15 Events. Amy and Richard’s wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have shot all year and I wish them heartfelt congratulations.
