Laura and Marcus celebrated what can only be described as their unbelievable wedding yesterday! The couple celebrated at Owen House Wedding Barn in Cheshire. Owen House Wedding Barn is such a charming place and it is refreshing to get the chance to capture another epic wedding here, I am already excited for the next opportunity later this month, it is a fantastic wedding venue and backed up by the most helpful and charming staff, it really is a venue perfect for any wedding.

I started the day photographing Laura and her girls in the Beauty Shed of Owen House Wedding Barn, close to where the bride and groom would tie the knot a few hours later. Once Marcus and the boys arrived to Owen House Wedding Barn, my amazing second photographer Paul was ready to capture their arrival and preparations too over in the Baa’ber Shop. Bridal and Groom Prep always gives the opportunity to get to know the bridal party a little bit more and gives lots of opportunity for storytelling, especially as Laura was having her hair and makeup finished by the AMAZING Bridal By Frankie and her bridesmaids were making sure her every need was catered for.

Once Laura and her girls were ready and made the trip towards the ceremony room at Owen House Wedding Barn, Laura and Marcus celebrated their marriage with a beautiful ceremony witnessed by all their closest friends and family. Laura looking stunning in her dress by Natalie Ann Brides and Marcus in his very dapper suit from Moss Bros. It's so much fun photographing weddings in Cheshire and the surrounding areas, I truly enjoy every wedding I work on in this stunning part of the country.

After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a fantastic wedding reception, taking in the stunning sights around the barn and venue while being served welcome drinks and nibbles by the marvellous Vanilla In Allseasons. It was a lovely atmosphere and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I started photographing the story unfolding as the guests relaxed and mingled.

The Perfect Cheshire Wedding Venue, Owen House Wedding Barn

Yesterday was a fantastic wedding and we made sure we got some lovely and relaxed portraits at the venue. With Owen House Wedding Barn, there is always opportunity of some stunning, fun and relaxed portraits! Whatever the weather the design of this unique wedding venue allows couples to take some time away and capture some beautiful images to cherish.

After a couple of hours catching up with guests and snapping away the all important group shots, friends and family took their seats in the main barn and the speakers were invited to begin. Some of the best reactions are photographed whilst the speeches are being delivered and I’m always on the look out for them.

Once the speeches had finished and the wedding party had enjoyed their marvellous meal delivered by Vanilla In AllSeasons, the bride and grooms guests were invited back into the ceremony room where hot drinks were being serves. At this point the newly weds and I took a few moments out to capture some portraits in the Shooting Gallery at Owen House Wedding Barn. With this great custom space we was able to create some beautiful images for the bride and groom with ease. It is a great addition to what is already a stunning rural wedding venue.

The evening celebrations started with the cutting of the cake for Laura and Marcus. A stunning first dance followed as the perfect wedding party proceeded the evening hosted by The Rush which are absolutely perfect for any wedding party that wants to dance the night away.

As well as having a thoroughly fantastic day, it was just a total joy to photograph Laura and Marcus' wedding. I just know they will build a fantastic life together and have what was a perfect wedding to look back on for years to come.
