Stunning Wedding at Mottram Hall in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

It was a pleasure photographing Jessica and Matty’s wedding yesterday with all their family and friends in attendance. The venue they chose for their wedding was Mottram Hall, Cheshire. Mottram Hall is a place you can always get excited to visit, no matter the number of times you have visited to capture a beautiful wedding. The happy couple could not have picked a better venue for their wedding day and with the wonderful British weather playing a few windy games with us during the day, luckily the rain stayed off pretty much all day and even allowed for some dreamy and relaxed couples portraits outdoors at the front of Mottram Hall during the day.

Jessica began her wedding day celebrations getting her hair and make up done with her girls at Mottram Hall, those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story. When I arrived the air was filled with nerves but as soon as the wedding ceremony began to draw closer the excitement starting to build. Matty, his family and his boys also had time to prepare themselves for the day at Mottram Hall before they began to welcome guests to their wedding venue.

Family and friends present at Mottram Hall witnessed Jessica and Matty exchange vows in an emotional and personal ceremony. Jessica and Matty had planned to have a beautiful indoor ceremony filled with flowers and candles for their wedding within the spectacular and stunning St Andrews suite at Mottram Hall, this masterpiece of room dressing created by Alison at Lasting Memories. Jessica and Matty couldn’t have asked for anything more during their special day. As a wedding photographer in Cheshire I always have a fantastic time photographing weddings around this beautiful part of the country.

After the ceremony the beautiful bride, her handsome groom and their wedding party enjoyed a relaxing moment in the newly refurbished and exclusive bar area at Mottram Hall. There was a joyful vibe throughout the reception and all the moments I photographed were worth a thousand words, it was truly a special day.

Once the wedding party had made their way back in to the St Andrews Suite at Mottram Hall they enjoyed listening to some very emotional speeches made by Jessicas Dad, Matty and his best men. The wedding breakfast was served by the very organised and professional staff at Mottram Hall before an amazing and fun filled performance by The Sing Along Waiters followed. This was a fantastic part of the wedding day and really got every single guest involved in the fun. Also setting up the atmosphere perfectly for the evening party!

A Short break to the wedding day followed before the party started back in the St Andrews suite. Dream team of Andy Murphy DJ and Ellie Sax was on hand to keep the party going and the dance floor filled. A stunning backdrop to the party with “Mr and Mrs Hayes” was also provided by The Word is Love.

It is a delight to photograph Cheshire weddings here at Mottram Hall. We were so happy that the rain stayed away during the wedding and it was was really nice to see everyone embrace the day and enjoy the celebrations. It also made taking the happy couples photographs a joy on the day.

All in all I had a blast at Jessica can Matty’s wedding. Thank you to all the staff at Mottram Hall in Cheshire for making the happy couples, their friends, family and me feel so welcome. I can’t wait to return soon.
