Wedding Celebrations at Home on the Wirral

It was a pleasure photographing Georgina and Julian’s elegant and stylish wedding yesterday. The happy couple decided to hold their wedding day celebrations at their stunning Wirral home with many of the closest friends and family attendance. It’s always a great honour to be involved in capturing such an spectacular wedding at a newly weds home, it felt very special to be such a big part of Georgina and Julian’s day and I am already very excited to start editing their images and relive how much fun yesterday was!

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was photographing Georgina getting ready at home in the morning with Julian’s daughter and bridesmaid Harriet and many of Georginas family members. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles; bridal prep is abundant in moments which I love to be able to capture. A short walk down the family estate to mum and dads family home followed to see Julian, his son Dominic greeting family members while they anticipating what would be a beautiful ceremony at St John the baptist Church and the arrival of their beautiful bride Georgina.

Once all the bridal preparations had finished Georgina arrived at the St John the baptist Church and took a deep breath as she made her way towards the alter to meet her soon to be new husband Julian. Friends and family looked on as Georgina and Julian exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony at St John the baptists Church. I will always relish the opportunity to cover ceremonies like this on the Wirral and further afield.

Wedding Photographer at home

Georgina and Julian shared a few moments with their guests before heading home to the reception where drinks and canapés awaited. All the guests were cheerful and you could feel the joyful atmosphere as the rain stopped and the sun finally showed its face for a short time. I enjoyed drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours go by.

This was a fantastic wedding and we made sure we got some lovely portraits at the newly weds home, this being made easy as there was endless opportunities for stunning bridal portraits in and around the grounds. It was a cloudy day for some parts, making the light very soft, which really help with photographs.

The guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast as the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. At the end of the day, Georgina and Julian rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing live band and DJ.

Georgina and Julian wedding was a stunning weddings and I am extremely honoured they chose me to capture it. Thank you again to you both, your family and friends. Joanna and I wish you all the success possible for the future and congratulations on becoming husband and wife.
