I absolutely loved capturing Stephanie and Mike's wedding day yesterday. The couple celebrated at Thornton Manor Estate, an exclusive wedding venue on the Wirral, Merseyside. I was ecstatic to photograph another wedding at Thornton Manor, it is a superb venue for any style of wedding and with the unbelievably beautiful grounds attached it makes the perfect location. I’m already looking forward to more wedding photography here.

Stephanie was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate Mike. The wedding ceremony celebrated in the stunning drawing room at Thornton Manor was beautiful, the photographs I took definitely have a grand and elegant wedding vibe to them which was exactly what the happy couple hoped for. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer here in Lancashire.

Stephanie and Mike interacted freely with their guests once leaving the ceremony room as husband and wife. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all. I was always on the lookout to catch awesome candid moments on camera and with a flourish of welcome drinks greeting their guests as they arrived, this gave me a perfect amount of time to snap those special moments for the newly weds and their guests.

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing Stephanie and Mike in the grounds of Thornton Manor during their wedding day portraits. I tend to keep my couples portraits as natural and relaxed as possible but with the breathtaking and stunning colours this time of year gives us and the out of this world wedding dress Stephanie had chosen from Natalie Ann Brides I had to keep them for a few more minutes than normal! The weather played some rainy games with us on the day so we had to use the beautiful natural light coming though the grand windows at Thornton Manor to capture many beautiful and natural moments as the day went on.

All the guests were keen not to miss the beautiful food provided by the staff at Thornton Manor. The amazing atmosphere that the wedding venue provided was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast, served in the beautifully and elegant music room which was dressed perfectly. The whole process was more of an experience for everyone involved than just a traditional wedding breakfast.

The night ended with guests crowding round the dance floor to watch Stephanie and Mike enjoying their first dance together. Stephanie and Mike's wedding was absolutely stunning and I’m very honoured to be asked to capture it. Congratulations from me and I wish you both all the happiness in the world as husband and wife.
