Wedding Celebrations at The Hayloft in Cheshire

It was a pleasure photographing Sarah and Gareth’s perfectly rustic and boho wedding yesterday. The happy couple decided to hold their wedding day celebrations at Knowsley Registry Office followed by the stunning Hayloft in Warrington, Cheshire with many of the closest friends and family. It’s always great and a huge honour to be involved in capturing such a spectacular wedding in Cheshire, I am already very excited to start editing their images and relive how much fun yesterday was.

After Sarah and Gareth had enjoyed some relaxing prep time at the respected family homes with the children and wedding parties, a short drive down to Knowsley Registry Office in Prescot followed. Gareth began the long wait at the alter with his boys while they all anticipated the arrival of Sarah, her bridesmaid and the children.

Once the bridal party had arrived at her ceremony, Sarah took a deep breath as she made her way towards the alter with her dad to meet her soon to be husband Gareth. Friends and family looked on as Sarah and Gareth exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony at Knowsley Registry Office. I will always relish the opportunity to cover ceremonies like this in Cheshire and further afield all around this beautiful country.

The Hayloft Wedding Photographer

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was photographing Sarah and Gareth’s first few moments at The Hayloft with all their guests. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles; the wedding reception is abundant in moments which I love to be able to capture.

Sarah and Gareth shared a few moments with their guests outside Knowsley Registry Office in the heart of Prescot before heading back to The Hayloft for their wedding reception where their staff, drinks in hand, awaited the arrival of the bride and groom. All the guests were cheerful and you could really feel the joyful atmosphere as the sun was happy to show its face all afternoon. I enjoyed drifting among the guests to take the best candid and relaxed shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours went by.

After a few moments relaxing with guests and a short few minutes alone for some couples portraits, the newly weds and their guests enjoyed a delicious wedding afternoon tea delivery by the amazing staff at The Hayloft. At this point the speakers, Sarahs dad, The Groom Gareth and best man all prepared to deliver their speeches in the most confided way possible. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer.

At the end of the day and after another few moments appreciating the stunning surrounding of this beautiful rural wedding venue in Cheshire and collecting some more memories and relaxed wedding portraits. Sarah and Gareth enjoyed a beautiful first dance accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing live band.

Sarah and Gareth’s wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have photographed and I'm sure they will be really happy together.
