Abigail and Adam celebrated what can only be described as a their unbelievable wedding yesterday! The couple celebrated at Rivington Hall Barn in Lancashire. Rivington Hall Barn is such a charming place and it is refreshing to return for each and every wedding, it is a fantastic venue and one which is perfect for any event or wedding.

I started the day photographing Abigail at her family home not far from the church where the happy couple would tie the knot a few hours later. My helping hand for the day Nick started the day with Adam and the boys at the newly weds home. Bridal Prep gives me an opportunity to get to know the bridal party a little bit more and gives lots of opportunity for storytelling as Abigail was having her hair and makeup finished and her bridesmaid were making sure her every need was catered for.

Once Abigail was ready for the trip to church in her surprise horse and carriage, Abigail and Adam cemented their union in a beautiful ceremony at St Wilfreds Church in Wigan. It's so much fun photographing weddings in Lancashire and the surrounding areas, I truly enjoy every wedding I work on.

After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a fantastic wedding reception at Rivington Hall Barn. It was a lovely atmosphere and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I started photographing the story unfolding as the guests relaxed and mingled.

Sunny Weddings at Rivington Hall Barn

This was a fantastic early summer wedding and we made sure we got some lovely portraits at the venue. It was a beautiful, sunny day, which made Abigail, Adam and their family really happy, and allowed all their guests to enjoy the spectacular grounds of Rivington Hall Barn.

After a couple of hours in the sun with drinks and nibbles, friends and family took their seats and the speakers were invited to begin. Some of the best reactions are photographed whilst the speeches are being delivered and yesterdays wedding was brilliant!

Once the speeches had finished and the wedding party had enjoyed their marvellous meal delivered by the staff at Rivington Hall Barn the real fun started! A once in a lifetime recreation of the Greatest Showman by Abigail and her closest pal started the dance floor going. this was finished by, well quite a lot of confetti!!! Then to finish the day perfect a surprise firework display out on the stunning grounds of Rivington Hall Barn.

As well as having a thoroughly fantastic day, it was just a total joy to photograph Abigail and Adam's wedding. I just know they will build a fantastic life together and have what was a perfect wedding to look back on for years to come.
