Our Bride and Groom, Vicky and Mike

I absolutely loved capturing Vicky and Mike’s wedding day. The happy couple celebrated at the exclusive wedding venue Owen House Wedding Barn in Knutsford, Cheshire. I was ecstatic to photograph another wedding at Owen House Wedding Barn, it is a superb venue for any style of wedding and with the unbelievably unique grounds attached, it makes the perfect wedding location. I’m already looking forward to more wedding photography here in the future.

This memorable day started with Vicky and her bridal party getting ready for the big day with hair and makeup. A beautiful moment with Mum and the girls followed as Vicky began to get ready for her ceremony with her stunning dress. Mike and his groomsmen followed shortly after to Owen House Wedding Barn where they got ready for the day at Owen House’s “BaaBer Shop” before greeted guests and calmed the wedding day nerves with a few pre ceremony drinks.

Vicky was delighted, that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate Mike. The wedding ceremony which was celebrated inside the beautiful Ceremony Room at Owen House Wedding Barn was stunning, the photographs I took definitely have an emotion and heartfelt vibe to them which was exactly what the happy couple had hoped for. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer here in Cheshire and capturing moments that our brides and grooms can cherish forever.

Vicky and Mike interacted freely with their guests after the wedding ceremony at Owen House Wedding Barn. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all. With welcome drinks flowing around the guests I was on the lookout to catch numerous candid moments on camera and with the perfect weather we were blessed with along with the perfect backdrop to Owen House Wedding Barn and its spacious ground, this gave me a flawless canvas to snap those special moments for the newly weds and the family.

One of my numerous favourite moments of Vicky and Mike’s wedding day was when I was capturing relaxed portraits of Vicky and Mike in the shooting gallery of Owen House Wedding Barn during their wedding day portraits. I tend to keep my couples portraits as natural and relaxed as possible, more focus on allowing our bride and her groom to spend some time alone on their wedding day. So a short time for them to spend together was perfect. We had a little moment together where the newly weds could chat about their morning before returning to their guests and enjoying the rest of the day.

All the guests were keen not to miss the beautiful food provided by Vanilla in all seasons at Owen House Wedding Barn. The amazing atmosphere that Owen House provided was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast. The whole process was more of an experience for everyone involved than anything else, simply perfection! Follow that by a handful of fantastic speeches by a number of the wedding party and the whole afternoon was simply faultless!

Add a little surprise of singing waiters from Mum and Dad and the evening was a thrill to photograph. I loved capturing moments during this part of the evening and showing how much fun our newly weds and their guests were having. The night continued with guests watching on as Vicky and Mike enjoyed their first dance together and a few snaps on the Photo Booth ended the evening perfectly.

Vicky ’and Mike’s wedding was absolutely stunning and I’m very very honoured they asked me to be their wedding photographer. Congratulations again from myself and Joanna and we wish you both all the happiness and success in the world as husband and wife.
