Wedding Celebrations at Owen House Wedding Barn in Cheshire

It was a pleasure photographing Laura and Patrick’s perfect wedding yesterday. The happy couple decided to hold their wedding day celebrations at the stunning Owen House Wedding Barn in Mobberley, Cheshire with many of the closest friends and family. It’s always great and a huge honour to be involved in capturing such a spectacular wedding here at Owen House Wedding Barn Cheshire, I am already very excited to start editing their images and relive how much fun yesterday was!

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was photographing Laura and Patrick getting ready with their bridesmaids and Groomsmen at Owen House Wedding Barn in both their custom build spaces perfect for all brides and grooms, the Beauty Shed and BaaBer Shop. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles, bridal and groom prep are abundant in moments which I love to be able to find and capture. Stunning florals supplied by Flower Design Events perfectly accompanied Laura’s Stunning Pronovias wedding dress provided by Knutsford Wedding Gallery and Whitfield and Ward supplying Patrick and his boys with some very dapper looking suits!

A short moment later after greeting their guests we would see our groom Patrick waiting nervously in the beautiful ceremony room at Owen House Wedding Barn with his boys, this while also anticipating the arrival of of his beautiful bride Laura and her bridesmaids. Once all the bridal preparations had finished and Laura’s dad Roger had the honour of a very emotional reveal, Laura and her bridal party arrived at the ceremony room, took a deep breath and made her way up the aisle with her dad to meet her soon to be new husband Patrick. Friends and family looked on as Laura and Patrick exchanged vows in a beautiful and emotional ceremony at Owen House Wedding Barn. I will always relish the opportunity to cover ceremonies like this in Cheshire and further afield all around this beautiful country.

After the happy couple had exchanged vows and legal bits were out of the way, Laura and Patrick shared a few moments with their guests at Owen House Wedding Barn during their wedding reception while where drinks and canapés we served by the amazing Vanilla AllSeasons Cheshire’s premier outside catering company. All the guests were cheerful and you could really feel the joyful atmosphere as Sam Fitton, an astonishing entertainer and modern Manchester magician entertained their wedding guests. I enjoy drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness all the stories unfold as the hours go by. After a few moments relaxing with guests we took a little time to capture some group shots. This was followed by some alone time Laura and Patrick as we snapped some couples portraits around the beautiful and Rural surrounds at Owen House Wedding Barn.

The newly weds and their guests then enjoyed a delicious Vanilla AllSeasons wedding breakfast as the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. Roger, Patrick and best man James all delivered confident and marvellous speeches that apart from a few technical issues with northern accents, all the newly weds guests understood and enjoyed!

With the fabulous and very unique shooting gallery on site at Owen House Wedding Barn, another relaxed and fun portrait session with Laura and Patrick followed the wedding breakfast, this is a great time for the happy couple to relax and enjoy some time together and Mr and Mrs while I capture some very personal and distinctive images for them to cherish.

At the end of the day, Laura and Patrick rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing live band Truly Madly Deeply. Laura and Patrick’s wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have photographed and I'm confident they will be really happy together. Thank you to James and his amazing team from Owen House Wedding Barn, you always make me feel very welcome at your stunning wedding venue and helped massively in allowing me to create some of the images below. I am already very excited for my next wedding here!
