Our Bride and Groom, Chloe and Berand

I absolutely loved capturing Chloe and Berand’s wedding day yesterday. Our happy couple celebrated at the beautiful, exclusive and newly refurbished Old Palace in Chester. This was my first wedding at Old Palace Chester and I was thrilled to finally capture this wonderful wedding and see Chloe and Berand, their family and friends enjoy their day to the fullest. I was also ecstatic to photograph my first wedding at Old Palace Chester, it is a superb venue for any style of wedding and with the unbelievably beautiful grounds attached, the exclusivity of the venue, flawless views and location on the banks of the River Dee in Chester city centre, it makes the perfect location. I’m already looking forward to more wedding photography here in the future.

Chloe was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate Berand. The wedding ceremony celebrated in the grand morning room at Old Palace Chester was stunning, the photographs I took definitely have an impressive and elegant wedding vibe to them which was exactly what the happy couple had hoped for. A zoom call was set up for family and friends around the world to connect into Chloe and Berand’s beautiful ceremony and enjoy the moment with guests who could attend. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer here in Chester and all around the North West of England.

Chloe and Berand interacted freely with their guests once leaving the ceremony room as husband and wife. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all. I was always on the lookout to catch many candid moments on camera and with a flourish of canapés and welcome drinks greeting their guests as they enjoyed the gardens and views of the river at Old Palace Chester, this gave me a perfect opportunity to snap those special moments for the newly weds and their guests.

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing Chloe and Berand in the grounds of Old Palace Chester during their wedding day portraits. I tend to keep my couples portraits as natural and relaxed as possible but with the breathtaking views and stunning colours this time of year gives us, I had to keep them for a few more minutes than normal! The weather was absolutely perfect on the day for photography, beautiful natural light coming though the cloud cover allowed me to really have so fun and capture many beautiful and natural moments as the day went on.

All the guests were keen not to miss the beautiful food provided by the staff at Old Palace Chester. The amazing atmosphere that the wedding venue provided was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast, served in the beautifully and elegant ballroom which was dressed perfectly by the team at Old Palace Chester. The whole process was more of an experience for everyone involved than just a traditional wedding breakfast.

The night ended with guests crowding round the dance floor to watch Chloe and Berand enjoying their first dance together. the dance floor packed till the end of the night made the perfect end to the perfect wedding. Chloe and Berand's wedding was absolutely stunning and I’m very honoured to be asked to capture it.
