Wedding Celebrations at Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire

It was a pleasure photographing Vicky and Matt’s perfect winter wedding day yesterday. The happy couple decided to hold their wedding day celebrations at the stunning Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire with a number of their closest friends and family. It’s always a huge honour to be involved in capturing such a spectacular wedding in Cheshire, I am already very excited to start editing their images and relive how much fun yesterday was!

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was photographing Vicky getting ready for the big day with hair and makeup by the fabulous girls at Bridal Hair & Makeup of Cheshire. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles; bridal prep is abundant in moments which I love to be able to capture. A beautiful moment with Mum followed as Vicky began to get ready for her ceremony with her stunning dress from Wife 2 Be Warrington. A short walk followed, down to the bar of Nunsmere Hall to see Matt and his boys preparing for the day.

Once all the bridal preparations had finished Vicky arrived at her ceremony and took a deep breath as she made her way towards the alter with her dad to meet her soon to be new husband Matt. Friends and family looked on as Vicky and Matt exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding ceremony. The ladies for Your Ceremony delivering the ceremony we as always totally professional and a pleasure to work alongside. I will always relish the opportunity to cover ceremonies like this in Cheshire and further afield all around this beautiful country.

Vicky and Matt shared a few moments with their guests after the ceremony before heading back to the relaxed setting of Nunsmere Hall for their wedding reception where drinks and nibbles awaited. All the guests were cheerful and you could really feel the joyful atmosphere as the sun graced us with its presence all afternoon. I enjoy drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours go by.

After a few moments relaxing with guests and a short few minutes alone for some couples portraits, the newly weds and their guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast in the marquee of Nunsmere dressed perfectly by Lilly Rose Events as the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. At the end of the day, Vicky and Matt rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing live DJ master Coast to Coast. Vicky and Matt’s wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have photographed and I'm sure they will be really happy together.
