Wedding Celebrations at Dorford Hall Estate in Cheshire

It was a pleasure photographing Jess and Chris’ perfect wedding yesterday. The happy couple decided to hold their wedding day celebrations at the stunning Dorfold Hall Estate in Cheshire with many of the closest friends and family. It’s always great and a huge honour to be involved in capturing such a spectacular wedding in Cheshire, I am already very excited to start editing their images and relive how much fun yesterday was!

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was photographing Jess getting ready at Dorfold Hall with her girls in the morning. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles; bridal prep is abundant in moments which I love to be able to capture. A short drive down to Sy Mary’s Church, Nantwich followed to see Chris waiting at the alter with his boys while they anticipated the arrival of Jess and her bridesmaids.

Once all the bridal preparations had finished Jess arrived at her ceremony and took a deep breath as she made her way towards the alter with her dad to meet her soon to be new husband Chris. Friends and family looked on as Jess and Chris exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony at St Mary’s Church. I will always relish the opportunity to cover ceremonies like this in Cheshire and further afield all around this beautiful country.

Dorfold Hall Wedding Photographer

Jess and Chris shared a few moments with their guests outside St Mary’s Church in the heart of the village of Nantwich before heading back to Dorfold Hall for their wedding reception where drinks and canapés awaited. All the guests were cheerful and you could really feel the joyful atmosphere as the sun threatened to show its face all afternoon. I enjoy drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours go by.

After a few moments relaxing with guests and a short few minutes alone for some couples portraits, the newly weds and their guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast as the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. At the end of the day, Jess and Chris rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing live band. Jess and Chris’ wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have photographed and I'm sure they will be really happy together.
