Wedding Celebrations at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire

It was a pleasure photographing Sarah and Ryan’s perfect winter wedding day yesterday. The happy couple decided to hold their wedding day celebrations at the stunning Colshaw Hall in Cheshire with a number of their closest friends and family. It’s always a huge honour to be involved in capturing such a spectacular wedding in Cheshire, I am already very excited to start editing their images and relive how much fun yesterday was!

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was photographing Sarah getting ready at Colshaw Hall with her girls in the morning. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles; bridal prep is abundant in moments which I love to be able to capture. A short walk followed, over to the Lodge in the grounds of Colshaw Hall to see Ryan and his boys preparing for the day.

Once all the bridal preparations had finished Sarah arrived at her ceremony and took a deep breath as she made her way towards the alter with her dad to meet her soon to be new husband Ryan. Friends and family looked on as Sarah and Ryan exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding ceremony. The ladies for Your Ceremony delivering the ceremony we as always totally professional and a pleasure to work alongside. I will always relish the opportunity to cover ceremonies like this in Cheshire and further afield all around this beautiful country.

Sarah and Ryan shared a few moments with their guests after the ceremony before heading back to the Peel Suite in Colshaw Hall for their wedding reception where mulled wine awaited. All the guests were cheerful and you could really feel the joyful atmosphere as the sun threatened to show its face all afternoon. I enjoy drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours go by.

After a few moments relaxing with guests and a short few minutes alone for some couples portraits, the newly weds and their guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast by Barretts Catering as the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. At the end of the day, Sarah and Ryan rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing live band The Singles Table. Sarah and Ryan’s wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have photographed and I'm sure they will be really happy together.
