It was a pleasure photographing Beth and Jack’s wedding yesterday with their closest family members in attendance. The venue they chose for their wedding celebrations were Alcumlow Wedding Barn in Congleton, Cheshire followed by La Popote restaurant also in Congleton. Alcumlow Wedding Barn is a wedding venue I always get excited to visit, no matter the number of times I have visited there to capture a beautiful wedding, the excitement butterflies are always present. The happy couple could not have picked a better venue for their wedding day and with the wonderful British weather playing ball for the day, Beth and Jack were able to enjoy a stunning outdoor ceremony in Alcumlow’s exclusively unique outdoor White House.

Beth began her wedding day celebrations getting her hair and make up done with her mum and future sister in laws, all in Alcumlow’s exclusive bridal prep suite, those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story. When I arrived the air was filled with nerves but as soon as the preparation was done and the ceremony began to draw closer the excitement starting to build. Jack and his best man also had time to prepare themselves for the day before heading over to Alcumlow Wedding Barn and greeting their guests.

Family present at Alcumlow witnessed Beth and Jack exchange vows in an emotional and personal ceremony. Beth and Jack had planned to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony for their wedding within the spectacular and stunning White House at Alcumlow Wedding Barn. Our beautiful bride and her handsome groom couldn’t have asked for anything more during their special day. As a wedding photographer in Cheshire I always have a fantastic time photographing weddings around this beautiful part of the country.

After the ceremony, our newly weds and their family enjoyed a relaxing time infant of the great dutch barn at Alcumlow before setting off for a private meal at the beautiful restaurant La Popote in Congleton. There was a joyful vibe during the reception and all the moments I photographed were worth a thousand words, it was truly a special day.

It is a delight to photograph Summer weddings Like Beth and Jack’s, we were so happy that the rain stayed away during the wedding and it was really nice to see everyone embrace the day and enjoy the celebrations. It also made taking the happy couples photographs a joy on the day.

All in all I had an absolute blast at Beth and Jack’s wedding. Thank you to all the staff at Alcumlow Wedding Barn and La Popote for making the happy couples, their family and myself feel so welcome. I can’t wait to return soon. Thank you!
