Summer Wedding at Wyresdale Park Exclusive Wedding Venue in Lancashire

It was a pleasure photographing Melissa and Peter’s wedding yesterday with their family and friends in attendance. The venue they chose for their wedding was Wyresdale Park Exclusive Wedding Venue in Lancashire. Wyresdale Park is a place you will always get excited visiting, no matter the number of times you have been there to capture a beautiful wedding like yesterdays. The happy couple could not have picked a better venue for their wedding day and with the wonderful British weather playing a few windy games with us during the day, luckily the rain stayed off pretty much all day and even allowed for some dreamy and relaxed couples portraits outdoors in and around the stunning grounds of Wyresdale Park.

Melissa began her wedding day celebrations getting her hair and make up done with her girls at Wyresdale Park in the beautiful and distinguished west wing of the country house, those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story. When I arrived the air was filled with nerves but as soon as the ceremony began to draw closer the excitement starting to build. Peter and his boys also had time to prepare themselves for the day at Wyresdale Park before they began to welcome guests to their wedding venue.

Family and friends present at Wyresdale Park witnessed Melissa and Peter exchange vows in an emotional and personal ceremony. Melissa and Peter had planned to have a beautiful indoor ceremony for their wedding within the spectacular and stunning ceremony room at Wyresdale Park. Melissa and Peter couldn’t have asked for anything more during their special day. As a wedding photographer in Lancashire I always have a fantastic time photographing weddings around this beautiful part of the country.

After the ceremony all of the newly weds wedding party enjoyed a relaxing time in the tractor barn with drinks and vegan Canapé’s. The magician and possibly a real life wizard, Sam Fitton entertaining the newly weds guests was a great addition to their day. There was a joyful vibe during the reception and all the moments I photographed were worth a thousand words, it was truly a special day.

It is a delight to photograph summer weddings around the North West and beyond. We were so happy that the rain stayed away during most of the wedding and it was was really nice to see everyone embrace the day and enjoy the celebrations. It also made taking the happy couples photographs a joy on the day as we timed Melissa and Peter’s portraits with the weather so to snap away the most perfect shots together while also staying dry!

Melissa, Peter, all their friends and family finished the night in the disco barn at Wyresdale Park, rocking out the dance floor while the amazing DJ and great friend of mine DJ Coast to Coast kept the party going til the early hours.

All in all I had an absolute blast at Melissa and Peter’s wedding. Thank you especially to Tamsin all the staff at Wyresdale Park for making the happy couples, their friends, family and me feel so welcome. Your detail to perfection and teamwork really does show allowing every happy couples to enjoy your stunning and unique venue to the fullest, Thank you! I can’t wait to return soon.
