Our Bride and Groom, Lil and Paul.

I absolutely loved capturing Lil and Paul's wedding day yesterday. The happy couple celebrated at the exclusive wedding venue Wrenbury Hall in Cheshire. I was ecstatic to photograph my first wedding at Wrenbury, it is a superb venue for any style of wedding and with the unbelievably beautiful grounds attached, it makes the perfect wedding location. I’m already looking forward to more wedding photography here in the future. 

This memorable day started with Lil and her bridal party getting ready for the big day with hair and makeup by the fabulous girls at Bridal Hair & Makeup of Cheshire. A beautiful moment with Mum followed as Lil began to get ready for her ceremony with her stunning dress and Jewellery by Lily & Roo. Paul and his groomsmen followed shortly after to Wrenbury Hall where they greeted guests and calmed the wedding day nerves with a few pre ceremony drinks.

Lil was delighted, that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate Paul. The wedding ceremony which was celebrated inside the beautiful and charming Oak Room at Wrenbury Hall was stunning, the photographs I took definitely have an emotion and heartfelt vibe to them which was exactly what the happy couple had hoped for. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer here in Cheshire and capturing moments that our brides and grooms can cherish forever.

Lil and Paul interacted freely with their guests outside Wrenbury Hall. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all. With welcome drinks and canapés flowing around the guests I was on the lookout to catch numerous candid moments on camera and with the perfect weather we were blessed with along with the perfect backdrop to Wrenbury Hall and its spacious ground, this gave me a flawless canvas to snap those special moments for the newly weds and the family.

Some slight of hand wizardry from Magic Matt during the drinks reception went down a storm with Lil and Paul’s guest and was perfect for me to capture some great reactions and smiles.

One of my numerous favourite moments of yesterdays wedding day was when I was capturing relaxed portraits of Lil and Paul in and around the grounds of Wrenbury Hall during their wedding day portraits. I tend to keep my couples portraits as natural and relaxed as possible, more focus on allowing our bride and her groom to spend some time alone on their wedding day. So a short walk around the nearby grounds was perfect. We had a little moment together where the newly weds could chat about their morning before returning to their guests and enjoying the rest of the day.

All the guests were keen not to miss the beautiful food provided by the staff at Wrenbury Hall. The amazing atmosphere that The Orangery at Wrenbury Hall provided was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast. The whole process was more of an experience for everyone involved than anything else, simply perfection! Follow that by a handful of fantastic speeches by a number of the wedding party and the whole afternoon was simply faultless!

The night ended with guests watching on as Lil and Paul enjoyed their first dance together. Truly Medley Deeply, the newly weds evening live band stole the show and allowed the happy couples wedding celebrations continue into the night.

Lil and Paul's wedding was absolutely stunning and I’m very very honoured they asked me to be their wedding photographer. Congratulations again from myself and Joanna and we wish you both all the happiness and success in the world as husband and wife.
