I loved shooting Nikki and James’s wedding yesterday down in the Cotswolds. The couple celebrated at The Great Tythe Barn near Tetbury in Gloucestershire. I was ecstatic to photograph my first wedding at The Great Tythe Barn. It is a superb wedding venue in the Cotswolds and great for any form of wedding, Thank you to all the staff for making me and all of the newly weds friends and family feel so welcome. I look forward to more wedding photography there in the future. One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing the happy couples wonderful ceremony. I like to capture a wedding ceremony in a more relaxed way, trying not to interrupt the proceeding but also become part of the day where I can show the true emotion the newly wed feel in each images. The light in the ceremony room at The Great Tythe Barn can be challenging for any photographer but done right the images will be breathtaking! I’ll let you be the judge of that :-)

Nikki was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate James. The ceremony celebrated was marvellous, all their closest friends and family waiting patiently for the brides big arrival with dad on arm. The photographs I took of the wedding day definitely have a "love is in the air" vibe to them, exactly the feeling I got during the whole wedding. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer in Gloucestershire. Nikki and James interacted freely with the guest at the reception and I was there to capture those candid and natural images for them. The surrounding of the wedding barn was wonderful and fun for all. I was still on the lookout to catch awesome moments on camera as there are so many to choose from.

The Beautiful Newly Weds, Thank you!

There's some real advantages to getting married in Early November. It was a bright day and the rain stayed away for the daytime which was a blessing. The overcast day helped to make some stunning photographs for the happy couple with soft light scattered everywhere throughout the wedding venue. With the rain deciding to show its face in the evening it was time to bring out the flashes and get a little creatine inside the barn.

The day ended with Nikki and James’s guests rocking the dance floor to their amazing live DJ. The bride and grooms wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have had the pleasure to shot and I wish them heartfelt congratulations, all the luck in the world and wonderful time while on their honeymoon!
