I absolutely loved shooting Sophie and Nick’s wedding yesterday! The happy couple chose to celebrate their wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire. I was ecstatic to photograph my first wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn, it’s a superb wedding venue in Cheshire and great for any type of wedding. I get so excited each time I am lucky enough to visit and capture what I know will be an unbelievably beautiful wedding. Thank you to all the staff for making me and every one of the newly weds friends and family feel so welcome. I look forward to capturing many more weddings here in the future. 

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing Sophie and Nick’s stunning ceremony at Sandhole Oak Barn. I like to show a wedding ceremony in a more relaxed way, trying not to interrupt the proceedings but also become part of the day where I can show lots of emotion in the images. Sophie and Nick’s ceremony in the stunning ceremony room at Sandhole Oak Barn was a very emotional moment in the couples day and I was honoured to have the task of capturing it.

Sophie was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate. After the marvellous ceremony at Sandhole Oak Barn, the bride and groom enjoyed a few relaxed moments with their friends and family which was perfect for me as I love to capture candid moments of the day with wedding guests enjoying the celebrations. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer in and around Cheshire. Sophie and Nick interacted freely with the guests at the reception, the surroundings were wonderful and fun for all, I was always on the lookout to catch awesome moments with the bride and groom celebrating with their guests

There's some real advantages to getting married in Summer. It was a bright day, which was a blessing and helped make some stunning photographs for the happy couple. With the weather being so marvellous Sophie and Nick’s wedding day was spent mostly out in the stunning grounds of Sandhole Oak Barn, a stress free afternoon of drinks and nibbles allowed us to take some time alone to capture some relaxed portraits. We were also able to take some time out early evening for another few moments alone, this was a good decision as we were able to chase the low evening light which looked great on the final images.

All the guests were keen not to miss the speeches. Every speech is unique and I love to capture them. With the speakers taking to the microphone it gave a really different feel to the wedding speeches with both bride Sophie and groom Nick standing to have their say on the day, with Father of the bride and Best men also speaking, it felt like something a little different that the newly weds can cherish forever. The day ended with Sophie, Nick and their guests rocking the dance floor to their live band and enjoying some evening refreshments. Sophie and Nick’s wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have shot and I wish them heartfelt congratulations.
