Our Bride and Groom Holly and Jez

It was a pleasure photographing Holly and Jez’s wedding yesterday with all their family and friends in attendance. The venue they chose for their wedding was the stunning Owen House Wedding Barn in Cheshire. Owen House Wedding Barn is a place you always get excited to visit as a wedding photographer, no matter the number of times I have been there to capture a beautiful wedding. The happy couple could not have picked a better venue for their wedding day and with the wonderful British weather playing nice with us during most of their wedding day, guest were able to enjoy the sunshine before Holly, Jez and I went off to create some dreamy and relaxed couples portraits indoors. Later we took a trip to the stunning shooting gallery at Owen House Wedding Barn for more, relaxed and enjoyful couple portraits.

Holly began her wedding day celebrations getting her hair and make up done with her girls in the bespoke bridal room of Owen House Wedding Barn, those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story. When I arrived the air was filled with excitement and as soon as the ceremony began to draw closer the excitement starting to build. Jez and his boys also had time to prepare themselves for the day in the barber shop at Owen House Wedding Barn before they began to welcome guests to their wedding venue.

Family and friends present at Owen House Wedding Barn witnessed Holly and Jez exchange vows in an emotional and personal ceremony. Holly and Jez had planned to have a beautiful indoor ceremony for their wedding within the spectacular and stunning ceremony room at Owen House Wedding Barn. The bride and groom couldn’t have asked for anything more during their special day. As a wedding photographer in Cheshire I always have a fantastic time photographing weddings around this beautiful part of the country.

After the ceremony all of the newly weds wedding party enjoyed a relaxing time outside in the grounds of Owen House Wedding Barn. There was a joyful vibe during the reception and all the moments I photographed were worth a thousand words, it was truly a special day.

It is always a delight to photograph summer weddings here in Cheshire. We were so happy that the rain stayed away during most of the wedding and it was really nice to see everyone embrace the day and enjoy the celebrations. It also made taking the happy couples photographs a joy on the day. 

All in all I had a blast at Holly and Jez’s’s wedding. Thank you to all the staff at Owen House Wedding Barn and Vanilla in all seasons for making the happy couples, their friends, family and me feel so welcome. I can’t wait to return soon.
