Wonderful city centre wedding day for Rebecca and Gareth at Liverpool Town Hall and Oh Me Oh My, Liverpool

A stunning city centre wedding for Rebecca and Gareth at Liverpool Town Hall and Oh Me Oh My

Stunning Liverpool City Centre Wedding

I absolutely loved capturing Rebecca and Gareth's wedding day yesterday. The couple celebrated at Oh Me Oh My, a stunning and elegant wedding venue in Liverpool City Centre. I was ecstatic to photograph another wedding at Oh Me Oh My, it is a superb and unique venue for any rustic to grand, or relaxed wedding and with the unbelievably beautiful rooftop terrace attached it makes the perfect location to celebrate your day. I’m already looking forward to more wedding photography there!

Rebecca was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her husband to be Gareth. The wedding ceremony celebrated at Liverpool Town Hall was was marvellous and the photographs I took there definitely have a "love is in the air" vibe to them. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer in Liverpool City Centre.

Rebecca and Gareth interacted freely with their guests once we all arrived at the reception. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all. I was still on the lookout to catch awesome candid moments on camera and with a table full of welcome drinks and plenty of Canapés greeting their guests as they arrived at Oh Me Oh My, this gave me a little more time to snap those moments for the newly weds.

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing Rebecca and Gareth around Liverpool Town Hall during their wedding day portraits. I tend to keep my couples portraits as natural and relaxed as possible but with the breathtaking architecture and stunning colours of exchange flags Liverpool, I had to keep them for a few more minutes than normal! I think it was a great decision as the images I captured really are amazing memories that the happy couple can cherish forever.

There are some real advantages to getting married in late summer. It was a beautiful day which allowed guests to enjoy the glorious rooftop of Oh Me Oh My and with the rain holding off all day, this was a blessing for the bride and groom. Having a later sunset helped also as we were able to go back out later on in the day with Rebecca and Gareth for some additional portraits around Liverpool waterfront.

All the guests were keen not to miss the beautiful food provided by the staff at Oh Me Oh My. The amazing atmosphere that Oh Me Oh My provided was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast, the whole process was more of an experience for everyone involved than just a traditional wedding breakfast.

The night ended with guests crowding round the dance floor to watch Rebecca and Gareth enjoying their first dance together. Rebecca and Gareth's wedding was beautiful, I am honoured to have captured it for you both and I wish you a heartfelt congratulations.

Thank you for making me feel very welcome.

Enjoy!
