Small, intimate wedding at Hope Street Hotel

It was a pleasure photographing Amy and Jack's very intimate and family orientated wedding yesterday. The venue they chose for their wedding celebrations and to finally tie the knot was Hope Street Hotel in the centre of Liverpool’s Georgian neighbourhood. Hope Street Hotel is a place you always get excited to visit as a wedding photographer no matter the number of times I’ve have captured weddings there, I felt extremely lucky to capture Amy and Jacks amazing wedding here and can not wait to return again soon for all our 2022 and 2023 weddings. The happy couple could not have picked a better place for their wedding celebrations.

Hope Street Hotel was a perfect place to begin Amy and Jack’s wedding. Amy began her wedding day getting pampered at Hope Street Hotel by close friend and wonderful hair by Sarah Kavanagh. With mums from each side of the families and her bridesmaids tending to all her needs, Amy was able to relax and enjoy her wedding day morning. Those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story. The air at Hope Street Hotel was also filled with excitement as Jack prepared himself for the day with his boys in a close by suite. A couple… of drinks were consumed to toast this special day before smartening themselves up and preparing for Amys arrival.

With the most important people in the happy couples family present at Hope Street Hotel they all witnessed Amy and Jack exchange vows in an emotional and personal ceremony. As a wedding photographer in Liverpool, I always have a fantastic time photographing weddings but when I am privileged to capture such a heart felt and lovely wedding like yesterdays it really does show how lucky I am.

After the ceremony, the intimate wedding party enjoyed a few moments on the terrace over looking some of Liverpools amazing landscapes. A trip downstairs to see some friends and family who had made a short visit to see the newly weds followed before a beautiful, private meal back at Hope Street Hotel. All the moments I photographed were worth a thousand words. It was truly a special day. 

It is a delight to photograph summer weddings around Liverpool. The sun graced us with its its face and made the day nice and bright, which was really nice to see. This also made taking photographs of the happy couple around the stunning city of Liverpool surrounding Hope Street Hotel a joy on the day. 

All in all I had an absolute blast at Amy and Jack's wedding and I'm sure they will be really happy together forever and always.
