Hayloft Same Sex Wedding

I loved shooting Tony and Nathan’s wedding Yesterday. The couple celebrated with a ceremony at St Helens Town Hall and then a wonderful rustic reception at The Hayloft in Warrington, Cheshire. I was ecstatic to photograph my first wedding at The Hayloft. It is a superb venue in Cheshire and great for any vintage, barn themed wedding, Thank you to all the staff for making me, and all of the newly weds friends and family feel so welcome. I look forward to more wedding photography there. One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing the beautiful ceremony at St Helens Town Hall. I like to capture a wedding ceremony in a more relaxed way, trying not to interrupt the proceedings but also become part of the day where I can show the emotion in the images. After the ceremony, a windy confetti shot near the steps of the Town Hall for the two grooms.

Tony and Nathan were both delighted that finally, they could walk down the aisle to marry their soul mate. The ceremony celebrated at St Helens Town Hall was marvellous, the photographs I took definitely have a "love is in the air" vibe to them. Tony, Nathan and their guests traveled to The Hayloft on a vintage bus. Once arrived at the reception, welcome drinks and a wonderful meal followed.

There's some real advantages to getting married in early spring. It was a bright day, which was a blessing, and helped me take some stunning photographs for the happy couple. We did need to chase the wind for portraits but nipping back out in the early evening light made for some beautiful images of the happy couple.

All the guests were keen not to miss the speeches. Every speech is unique and I never get tired of shooting them. The day ended with Nathan, Tony and their guests rocking the dance floor to their DJ and live band. Tony and Nathan’s same sex wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have shot and I wish them heartfelt congratulations.
