I absolutely loved capturing Joanna and Tom's wedding day yesterday. The couple celebrated at The Dell Pavilion within the Thornton Manor estate on the Cheshire border. I was ecstatic to photograph another wedding at Thornton Manor, it is a superb venue for any style of wedding and with the unbelievably beautiful grounds attached, it makes the perfect wedding location. I’m already looking forward to more wedding photography here in the future. 

Joanna was delighted, that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate Tom. The wedding ceremony which was celebrated outside the rustic but also charming Thatched Cottage at Thornton Manor was stunning, the photographs I took definitely have an emotion and heartfelt vibe to them which was exactly what the happy couple had hoped for. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer here in Cheshire and capturing moments that our brides and grooms can cherish forever.

Joanna and Tom interacted freely with their guests after a short walk over to their wedding reception at the Dell Pavilion. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all with welcome drinks and canapés flowing around the guests. I was still on the lookout to catch numerous candid moments on camera and with the beautiful weather we were blessed with along with the perfect backdrop to Thornton Manor and its spacious ground, this gave me a perfect opportunity to snap those special moments for the newly weds and the family.

One of my numerous favourite moments of yesterdays wedding day was when I was capturing relaxed portraits of Joanna and Tom in and around the grounds of Thornton Manor during their wedding day portraits. I tend to keep my couples portraits as natural and relaxed as possible, more focus on allowing the bride and groom to spend some time alone on their wedding day. So a short walk around the nearby grounds was perfect, we had a little moment together where the newly weds could chat about their morning before returning to their guests and enjoying the rest of the day.

All the guests were keen not to miss the beautiful food provided by the staff at Thornton Manor. The amazing atmosphere that The Dell Pavilion provided was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast, served in the beautifully elegant and pristine marquee dressed perfectly by Qube Events. The whole process was more of an experience for everyone involved than anything else, simply perfection!

The night ended with guests watching on as Joanna and Tom enjoyed their first dance together. Six15’s Will Maden and Agent Smith, the newly weds evening DJ and live band respectively, stole the show and allowed the happy couples wedding celebrations continue into the night.

Joanna and Tom's wedding was absolutely stunning and I’m very very honoured they asked me to be their wedding photographer. Congratulations again from my Joanna and I and we wish you both all the happiness and success in the world as husband and wife.
