I absolutely loved shooting Chhayaben and Iain’s Indian wedding yesterday. The couple celebrated at Alcumlow Hall Wedding barn in Congleton, Cheshire. I was ecstatic to photograph my second wedding at Alcumlow Hall Wedding Barn and also their first Indian wedding at the venue. Alcumlow is a superb wedding venue in Cheshire and great for any type or tradition of wedding celebration. Thank you to the staff for making me and all of the newly weds friends and family feel so welcome. I look forward to more wedding photography there. 

Chhayaben was delighted that finally the day had come to marry her best friend Iain in what was going to be a fun filled and stunning day of celebrations. The traditional Hindu wedding celebration at Alcumlow was marvellous! I love to be able to learn new ways for sealing the wedding day vows with all different cultures and traditions. After covering a number of India weddings now I already can’t wait for the next! The photographs I took definitely have a "love is in the air" vibe to them, it is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer here in Cheshire. 

After the Hindu ceremony had finished and the happy couple had left the barn to a bombardment of confetti, Chhayaben and Iain interacted freely with their guest at the reception while refreshments were served. They then heading back up to the bridal suite to prepare for the civil ceremony in the outdoor grounds of the wedding venue.

There's some real advantages to getting married early summer. It was a bright day which was a blessing as Chhayaben and Iain were able to tie the know in their civil ceremony outdoors at Alcumlow. The purpose built ceremony area is one of the prettiest settings for a civil ceremony and one that makes a wonderful backdrop for the newly weds images.

After the ceremony Chhayaben, Ian and I enjoyed the grounds a little more with some relaxed wedding day portraits of the happy couple. A beautiful meal followed and a number of speeches from friends and family of the bride and groom. An emotional first dance followed the wedding breakfast then quickly into some brilliant dance moves by everyone to finish off the evening. Thank you Chhayaben and Iain for allowing me to be part of their amazing wedding day. I’ll remember it forever.
