The quirky Oddfellows in Chester was the stage for Katherine and Jon's amazing wedding day

Yesterday I was lucky enough to be the wedding photographer for Katherine and Jon. The venue they chose for their wedding was Oddfellows, Chester in Cheshire. I was so happy to finally photograph a wedding at Oddfellows as its one venue which has alway stood out to me, I am already looking forward to photographing more weddings there in the future. It was an honour to photograph Katherine and Jon wedding at a venue like Oddfellows. 

Katherine and her girls prepared themselves early in the morning for her wedding in one of the stunning rooms at the venue. I got to photograph some fantastic moments as the bridal party enjoyed the pre wedding preparations. Katherine and Jon tied the knot in the ceremony room at Oddfellows and it was a emotional ceremony amongst family and friends. Everyone had a blast at Oddfellowshe venue served drinks and everyone had a fantastic time. I walked around photographing the guests as they relaxed and talked.

I always enjoy Summer weddings and they never fail to offer plenty of opportunities to photograph the bride and groom. The rain stayed around for the majority of the day, but there was no way Katherine and Jon were going to let that get in the way of a fantastic day. We timed it perfectly to take a short trip down some of the oldest streets on Chester to use the stunning backdrops in their images, the day couldn't have been better. 

As the evening drew in, some epic tunes invited the newlyweds and their guests to rock the dance floor. Katherine and Jon really know how to create a fantastic wedding and I wish them heartfelt congratulations and a great future together.
